The SRLYN Perching Seat from ErgoVerse offers those working at height-adjustable workstations the option of an elevated perching seat or a leaning stance. The SRLYN helps to reduce strain on the legs and feet as well as on the muscles of the lower back and core. The leaning position also minimizes the effort required to return to a fully standing position and permits a greater range of motion and greater reach than does a standard seated position.

The SRLYN Perching Seat features an infinitely adjustable height range from 26.4" to 35.8" and locking forward tilt adjustment from 5° up to 20°. The 14.2" wide by 12.6" deep formed polyurethane seat provides a large firm cushioned seating surface with an integrated handle for ease of movement. (Note: Individuals under 5'6" may find this seat too high but those who are taller might benefit from its greater upper range as it can accommodate heights up to 6'6".)

Strong nylon glides engage the floor to ensure secure positioning of the seat. The convenient integrated handle can be used to tip the SRLYN onto the small transport rollers incorporated into the rear glides for movement about a workspace. With a seat height range of 23.75" - 33.1", the STEPL Drafting Chair from ErgoVerse can provide those working at fixed-height elevated workstations a stable and comfortable seat. The STEPL features a wide seat and back rest, both with 2" thick padding for comfort. The angles of the seat and back rest are independently adjustable, with the back rest also adjustable in height, features that let each person to position support where it is most beneficial. Seat height adjustment is via a standard gas spring lift that also provides a shock-absorbing effect.

Two footrest options are available. Models SDC-BLK-05004 and SDC-GRY-07033 are equipped with a large 22.8" diameter heavy steel foot ring that provides a convenient 360° of fixed support for the feet. Model SDC-BLK-07030 features a 120° steel footrest with an aggressively treaded surface for safety. Both foot rest options can be positioned as low as 7.5" off the floor or can also be secured at greater heights if necessary.

The STEYBIL is now available with several seat options. One model features a formed polyurethane seat that provides a firm yet cushioned seating surface with cooling airflow channels. It features a heavy-duty, large diameter tubular steel base topped with a cushioning, infinitely-adjustable gas spring lift. A convenient tilt option lets the seat be positioned flat for sitting or angled forward up to 15° for leaning. Black textured powder-coating on the frame provides a pleasant appearance in addition to resisting marks and rust. Large plastic glides provide stable positioning and small rollers integrated into the rear glides facilitate easy movement of the 17.6 lb (8 kg) seat between working points.

The TULEAN Leaning Stool features a firm, padded seat that is available with either a faux leather or fabric cover. Its appearance and comfortable cushioning make this model more aesthetically suited to an office environment. Warehouse or manufacturing facility applications may benefit from a model such as the RISON that is equipped to withstand the rougher treatment encountered in these environments.

Gas spring lifts provide two ranges of adjustment which will meet the seating needs of most people, regardless of height. The WTRFL Perching Seat from ErgoVerse offers an angle-adjustable, contoured seating surface for both perching and leaning applications. The naturally-shaped seat features a flowing design with a softly rounded front that rises slightly to provide a "ledge" effect that can counter the "slippage" sensation that flatter seats may generate. The rounded waterfall front then drops down and away, eliminating uncomfortable sharp pressure lines against the back of the legs.

The firm polyurethane foam seat is waterproof and highly resistant to cuts or punctures, with formed channels facilitating cooling air flow. Height adjustment is accomplished with a gas spring that also serves as a shock absorber by providing a cushioning effect when weight is brought to bear.
